Instructions
1. Assessments should be completed as per your trainer’s instructions.
2. Assessments must be submitted by the due date to avoid a late submission penalty.
3. Plagiarism is copying someone else’s work and submitting it as your own. You must write your answers in your own words and include a reference list. A mark of zero will be given for any assessment or part of an assessment that has been plagiarised.
4. You may discuss your assessments with other students, but submitting identical answers to other students will result in a failing grade. Your answers must be yours alone.
5. Your trainer will advise whether the assessment should be digitally uploaded or submitted in hard copy. Assessments that are digitally uploaded should be saved in pdf format.
6. You must attempt all questions.
7. You must pass all assessments in order to pass the subject.
8. All assessments are to be completed in accordance with WHS regulatory requirements.

Part A – Project and Presentation
Scenario
Your project is halfway though the execution phase and the project sponsor has requested that you complete a project progress report highlighting any identified issues. In addition, the project sponsor would like you to present the report in front of the project team.
1. Present the project progress report (Word, Excel, PDF or Powerpoint format) to the project sponsor and the team. The presentation must be logical, concise and presented in an understandable manner.
(30 marks, 10 for the report and 20 for the presentation)
2. Following on from the presentation, seek feedback from the project sponsor and team members highlighting any issues within the project that can be used as part of your project monitor and control processes. Note: a questionnaire would be accepted.
(10 marks, 2 marks per question, 1 mark per suggested feedback)
3. Prepare a checklist that can be used to assess the effectiveness of human
resources used in a project of your choice. (5 marks)
4. In their feedback, the project sponsor and team members propose changes to the project human resources and time. How will you analyse the proposed changes including their impact? (5 marks)
5. What logs and registers will you use to accurately record and regularly assist with project audit? (5 marks)

1. How often will you update associated plans to reflect project progress against baselines and approved changes? (5 marks)
2. What documents can be used when finalising a project? (5 marks)
3. Prepare a project final report including reference to Operational Manuals.
