Objectives: to learn to build a training programme
Replace:
Induction programmes are critical investment in maximising the benefit of external hires in the shortest time possible. If they are well planned and well executed they add immense value to both the employer and the new hire.
You have been requested to draw up a 3 month training plan to meet the needs of induction of a newly recruited management trainee to the marketing department at Real Madrid Football Club based in Madrid, Spain.
By referring to your knowledge of the club (and material available on the web) and using the guidelines on training contained in the course materials (attached) you should draft a plan of what you would recommend to ensure that the new management trainee will become fully operational by the time the 3 month period is over.
You have been allocated a reasonable budget to cover programme expenses including travel outside Madrid.
Your submission should be based on a methodological approach to the programme, the key objectives to be achieved, and an explanation of why you have set them, and proposal for evaluation at the end of the period.
As it will be an “executive summary” for senior management you do not need to go into enormous detail. Please focus on the key issues.
