GRADING RUBRIC
1. Definitions 20% - Adequately defines the concepts. References theories and related information to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the course material. Cites textbook.
2. Concept/Theory 20% - Explains concept against existing models, paradigms, or theories as outlined in the designated chapter. Provides full explanation demonstrating understanding of material. Cites textbook.
3. Application 20% - Provides example of concept in action based on research which can include interviews, internet searches of credible sources (company websites, business periodicals, etc.). Includes two academic sources per concept (8 total) using Egan Library resources (see Step 4 above).
4. Organizational Outcomes 20% - Discusses connection between concept on job performance AND organizational commitment (see Ch.2/Ch.3 for refresher) and also references correlational data in the textbook (see page numbers above).
5. Quality 20% - Written concisely; has introduction/body/conclusion/references/in-text citations for all sources listed on References page; uses subheadings (required), correct grammar, 12-point font, and APA style formatting. No 1st person. If previously asked by professor to visit UAS Writing Center, paper is preceded by confirmation of student utilization of that resource from Writing Center staff.
