How do I write it?
This question asks you to write about Aesthetics businesses. You need to select two of these three types of business:
1) Businesses that have operated and closed down;
2) Businesses that are currently operating; or
3) Businesses that are looking for investment to get started.
You are being asked to show your understanding of the key indicators for success and failure and how you would ensure success. You need to measure the performance of the two chosen businesses according to the dimensions of Penetration, Risk Factors, Sales Performance, Appropriate Business and Tax Structure and Financing Methods.
Because reports need headings, you will need to create some based on this assessment question.
Step 1: Highlight the key words in the assessment question.
Step 2: Divide 2000 words into how many paragraphs you will need (approx. 10 paragraphs, so 8 main points plus introduction and conclusion).
Step 3: Divide these main points into headings based on the assessment key words.
Assessment Task 2: Investment Decision Report and Presentation
Reports and presentations are intended to test a student's ability to research information using research techniques and present their findings in a report and presentation.
In this assessment students are asked to identify 2 businesses in the Aesthetics space. Students must select 2 businesses from the following types: 1) Businesses that have operated and closed down; 2) Businesses that are currently operating; or 3) businesses that are looking for investment to get started.
The aim of this assessment is to get students to understand the key indicators for success and failure and what they would do differently (if necessary) to ensure success. In order to identify success or failure, students are asked to measure the performance of each business along various dimensions: Market Penetration, Risk Factors, Sales Performance, Appropriate Business and Tax Structure and Financing Methods.
Approximate word length 2,000 words. Assignment to be submitted through Turnitin (details to be provided in first lecture and in Week 9).
