Assignment instructions
Each week you blog guided by the weekly topic. You will need to devote time to researching and writing your blog post each week. Each post should draw from the relevant unit materials and/or prescribed readings.
Honing your research skills is important. Each blog post should include at least one academic reference (use Harvard in-text and include a list at the bottom of your post). You should also include references to a range of resources including online news sites, blog posts, personal interviews and journal articles (you'll find some in the readings for this unit). The posts must be proof read and edited.
During the trimester you'll need to produce at least one blog post with original multimedia content. This means that the content you use has been created by you.
The writing style, angle of the post and sources of information are up to you, however, the final post must be of a professional standard. We want you to have flexibility to explore topics that interest you guided by the weekly topic/guiding questions. Each post should be approximately 500 words.
Set up your blog in WordPress (Resources WordPress).
What needs to be submitted?
You will be assessed on five blog posts. You will choose your four strongest blog posts from throughout the trimester for submission. The fifth post is a reflective blog post based on the blogging experience.
