My topic of animation – happy go lucky humpty. it should be shown at the beginning of the animation.
Storyboard has been already made . I need to turn this storyboard into animation video. It does not have to be perfect.
The animation story I ve come up with is simple and easy –
Introduction
The animation will tells the story of a character named humpty dumpty who is well known in his village. He has an irregular body shape so he thinks nobody likes him. He wants to be loved by the people of his village. He does crazy stuffs like climbing up a wall and pretending to fall from it to gain the attention of the villagers but doesn’t get it. So, in the story, once he climbs up a building taller than the wall and due to his bad luck he falls off it. Whether it is his good luck or a bad luck will be known by reading the whole animation story.
Animation story
The story begins with an extreme long shot of a beautiful background showing the hills of a village, sunshine and the birds flying. The camera pans to continue and show the full shot of the humpty dumpty sitting on a wall waving to people. He is known by all the villagers to his attention seeking habits. One day he climbs the building taller than the walls he is normally used to climb. He yells out loud, “I feel so tall up here”. He is unaware of the wind coming up his way. There is a strong wind coming and the people started to panic that he might fall. To show this in an animation a long shot of a wind blowing a tree and leaves is shown followed by the people panicking and telling humpty to get down otherwise he is going to fall. They haven’t finished panicking he falls off the building and lands on the ground. Different angle shots are shown to show the climax. In this part, luckily humpty only breaks his head little bit. When he falls off a lot of people come to rescue him. One of the king’s man and the horse is shown in the frame gesturing the worried body language. Humpty sees that people care about him. The king’s men and the horses were quick to response. They come to help him immediately. He was being taken care and fixed by the king’s men. He is shocked to get the response he always wanted from these people so badly. The camera pans and weather is beautiful again. In the end he promises people not to climb the walls ever again and goes home happily. The walking sequence is shown at the end of the story.
Several motion tweens, frames by frames, tracing, panning and tracking, zooming, changing registration point for anticipation and follow through all will be used during animation.
