The part of small assignment is to create a security guide written for a specific type of wireless device that allows for configuration of a secure wireless connection depending on the model that you have been assigned. The mode l is AVM Fritz!Box 7390.
Important! All of the above must be written such that someone who has no technical skills or knowledge can use it to secure their wireless connection.
THE Guide allows for creation of a secure connection for the given device should strictly contain following :
Change and disable SSID broadcasting, which is strong encryption type, which is strong encryption key, strong access control, change default administrator name (if possible) and password, enable MAC filtering, change and limiting the DHCP scope, limiting the Radio signal range, minimise or disable remote administration, position the device (router) safely, enabling logging, select appropriate channel.
