Introduction:
Form a group of 3 to 4 students and write a Business Proposal and Analysis based on creating a start-up business. Give the names of your group members to your lecturer in WEEK 4.
Scenario:
You are in a partnership with 3 to 4 other investors who have all committed to fund a start-up business. You have a $250,000 budget, so you will have a significant opportunity to build a good small business with 5 to 10 staff.
With your partners you will need to identify and agree on what type of business you want to open, what roles and responsibilities will be needed in your group and how you will organise your communication and deliverable outcomes.
Your first milestone is to complete the business background and planning elements. Working together in your partnership write a proposal and analysis which includes:
• Title Page
• Table of Contents
• Executive Summary
• Theory and purpose
• Background:
o Description of your business and the industry it operates in o Individual roles and communication strategy
o Outline the proposed organisational structure, mission and objectives

Each week you will cover the background theory and given the opportunity to discuss practical applications and skills to complete to complete each task.
